Would you like that fried or steamed, Sir?

'Cannibal' killer admits to frying friend's brain....

"LONDON : A convicted killer, 35-year-old Peter Bryan, with serious psychiatric problems and a confessed penchant for cannibalism was given two life sentences yesterday for killing two people, including an OLD FRIEND whose brain he cooked up in a frying pan and ate.

....etc...etc....etc......

In February last year, while living in a community mental health facility in east London, he went to visit Brian Cherry, 43, at home in nearby Walthamstow.

Neighbours heard screams from the home and alerted police, who discovered Bryan had killed his friend and was cooking the dismembered body and brains.

Prosecuter Aftab Jafferjee said Bryan had inflicted more than 24 blows to Cherry's head, chopped him up with the aid of kitchen knives and had already eaten some of the man's brain cooked in BUTTER by the time police arrived.........(cont.)"

Haiyoh.

What the f-F**K? Best sangat ke makan otak orang? (Can it be that good?) I can't imagine, since I've never tasted it before. But really, just the thought of cutting up my old pals and cooking them ala masak merah, is too sicko, even for me.

Hey, we all know cannibalism is not a new concept. It's been around since the ancient cultures, and is still being practised by some of the tribes living in the world's deepest forests.

Based on an article I just read, cannibalism was first discovered during Christopher Columbus's expedition to the West Indies. It is said that he and his crew came across a tribe called the Carib West Indies. And this tribe, they ritualistically eat humat meat. Ritualistically. Which probably means OFTEN.

If I were to put this into our modern-day context, that could mean old-Kedah-man-meat rendang with ketupat during Hari Raya, and roasted twentyish-Aussie-girls during Christmas eves. Or, or barbecued Asian-baby-back-ribs when you feel like celebrating that promotion with your work buddies.

Gives a whole new meaning to the word delicacies.

*YUCKS. Pening lalat saya (Why is the room suddenly spinning??)*

Anyway, back to Columbus. His gang & him mispronounced the word 'Caribs' as 'Canibs', leading to the modern day word 'Cannibals'.

I don't know la, but seeing as to how cannibalism has reached across many, many centuries and cultures, I must assume that human meat must be damn good.

No?

But no matter how good it may be, I'll have to pass. I have enough troubles dealing with people around me, I don't think I want them INSIDE of me.

I'll stick to seafood.

Well, happy eating & dining to all. Sorry if I spoiled your appetites tonight.

Mangia.
