Shit That Happened While Woodster Was Away :

1.
The hook holding my spice rack to the wall broke. The rack fell onto the floor. The jars of spice shattered. The ones in plastic containers survived. However, my brand new bottle of white pepper was spilled everywhere. Was teary eyed and itchy nosed when cleaning up the mess. Shards of glass all over. Got pepper on my pants and tracked them all over the house. Extra cleaning required for the other rooms.

2.
The curtain railing gave way. Fell onto me when I was sitting under it. Luckily there were no injuries to my cute head, just a huge scare for my poor, little heart. Tried to reattach it to the wall but the support was broken as well. In the meantime, my curtains are help up, secured to the window grille via clothes pegs. Horribly bughuk (ugly), but beats living in a “fish bowl”.

3.
The lights in the main bathroom went out. Too lazy to change the bulb, plus fear of being electrocuted justified me being malas (lazy) to climb onto a chair and fixing it. Hence, I switched to using the other bathroom. No biggie. Woodster came back yesterday, and lo-and-behold! The lights came back on. Magic? You tell me.

4.
The car was broken into late Thursday night / early Friday morning. I stayed over at Woodster’s parents’ that day because his brother was gonna help me send the car for tire change after the Friday prayers. Woke up late, was gonna be late for work, when we noticed the commotion outside. Neighbors were gathering around the car, pointing and beckoning when they saw us came out.

Hey, your car was broken into lah! Habis pecah your window!

Sure enough, the driver side’s window is shattered. Pecah seribu.

What did I lose?

Nothing except my Smart Tag, 2 Touch n Go’s and Woodster’s Remington shaver kit (in a nice pouch, so probably the thief thought it was a coin purse or sth). The Remington was a gift from me.

B*stard.

Ended up coming in at around 11 for work, and I was set back a few hundred dollars because of the car damages.

Looks like the tayar botaks will have to wait.

What the SOB(s) took ended up valued less than the repair costs.

Turned out that mine was not the only car the MF(s) entered in the neighborhood. All same MO, and all had Smart Tags taken.

And mind you, I did NOT leave my Smart Tag & Touch n Go’s in plain view. I hid them inside the covered arm rest compartment. There’s no way in hell could they see that I had a Smart Tag, unless:

a) they had x-ray visions
b) they are psychic
c) they used a special device that can detect electronics

Well, it’s probably (c).

But WHATEVER! They are still a bunch of S.O.Bs. Menyusahkan org je.

My point is, these things couldn’t happen when Woodster is around issit? Mesti nak jadi time I sorang2 eh? Can’t pick a better time, huh?

I’m glad Woodster’s now back though :). I’ve missed you!

OK gtg. Wanna spend some quality & quantity time together.

*Hangs a DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door*

Hehehe.
